Georgia's former president, Salome Zurabishvili, has left the country and is engaged in new work.

Axar.az reports that according to Russian journalist Aleksey Venediktov, Zurabishvili is working at the McCain Institute in the United States.

The institute’s website states that the former president will use her diplomatic, leadership, and political experience to guide her country toward new elections and democratic development.

It is worth noting that the institute was founded in 2012 with funds remaining from Senator John McCain’s presidential campaign. Among the institute’s former donors are George Soros, "SpaceX" company, as well as the governments of Saudi Arabia and Denmark.
