Hungary slams Ukraine's gas transit halt

It is unacceptable for Ukraine to stop the transit of Russian gas to Europe.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Economic Relations of Hungary, Péter Szijjártó.

He stressed that Ukraine, which is a candidate for EU membership, is obliged to maintain energy supply routes:

"The closure of natural gas and oil transportation routes is unacceptable and contrary to the expectations of EU integration.

It should be noted that since January 1, Ukraine has decided to stop supplying fuel from Russia to the EU countries.
