California wildfires may cause 60b dollars in damage

The damage from the fires in Los Angeles County, California may reach 60 billion dollars.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by the weather forecasting company "AccuWeather."

AccuWeather’s preliminary estimate of the total damage and economic loss from the devastating wildfires burning in Southern California, which are endangering and disrupting lives, is $52-$57 billion.

It is worth noting that the total area of the fires has exceeded 10,000 hectares and continues to grow. The fire has destroyed more than 1,000 buildings, caused at least 5 fatalities, and left over 950,000 people without electricity in Los Angeles County.
