Armenia’s EU membership should be decided by referendum

The final decision on Armenia's membership in the EU organization should be made through a nationwide referendum.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the country's Prime Minister, Nikol Pashinyan, during a government meeting where the draft law on the start of Armenia’s EU membership process was discussed.

He stated that regardless of whether the Parliament adopts the relevant law, the final decision on the country's membership in the mentioned organization should be made through a nationwide referendum.
