Firefighting aircraft in California collided with drone

In California, a firefighting aircraft collided with a drone while combating a wildfire.

Axar.az reports that according to the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), one of the two “Canadair CL-415 Super Scooper” planes used by California firefighter sustained wing damage and remains grounded and out of service.

The collision caused the temporary grounding of all aircraft responding to the Palisades Fire, and an investigation has been launched.
