Ukraine won't resume Russian gas transit

The transit of Russian gas through Ukraine is not planned to resume.

Axar.az reports that this was said by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal.

"The operation of the gas transportation system of Ukraine is an important element of the stability of the energy sector. However, we have no intention of reaching an agreement on the transit of Russian gas," Shmyhal said.

It should be noted that the transit of Russian gas through the territory of Ukraine was stopped on January 1, 2025.
