Chinese President Xi Jinping will send a senior official to the United States to attend the inauguration of the newly elected US President Donald Trump on January 20.

Axar.az informs that "The Financial Times" reported on this.

It was reported that Vice President Han Zheng and Foreign Minister Wang Yi are among the candidates who will go to the United States.

At the same time, Washington expects that the head of the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China Tsai Ching, whom the US authorities consider an important figure in Chinese politics, will also participate in the ceremony.

It should be noted that Trump invited Jinping to the swearing-in ceremony.
