Iran launches first homegrown intelligence destroyer

Iran has integrated its first domestically-built intelligence and signal destroyer, Zagros, into its naval combat system. The ceremony, attended by senior military officials, marked the completion of the vessel, which features advanced electronic sensors, a mast for electromagnetic wave calculations, and capabilities for tracking, cyber operations, and surveillance.

Axar.az, citing Al Mayadeen, reports that developed with contributions from Iranian experts and knowledge-based companies, Zagros is expected to bolster the country's maritime security.

Additionally, Iran's IRGC Aerospace Force is preparing to test a new homegrown anti-ballistic defense system.
Brigadier General Davoud Sheikhiyan emphasized the strategic importance of this test, which could impact military dynamics and perceptions among adversarial nations.
