Russia and Ukraine swap 25 prisoners each

As a result of the negotiations, prisoners were exchanged between Russia and Ukraine in the "25-25" format.

Axar.az reports that the Ministry of Defense of Russia has released information about this.

"On January 15, as a result of the negotiation process, 25 Russian servicemen were returned from the territory controlled by Ukraine. In return, 25 prisoners of war were handed over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. "At present, all Russian servicemen are in the territory of Belarus, they are provided with the necessary psychological and medical assistance, and they are also allowed to contact their relatives," the information said.

It should be noted that the two countries previously exchanged prisoners on the "150-150" formula.
