Donald Trump, the 47th president of the United States, will officially take office at a ceremony held in the Capitol building.

Axar.az reports that the ceremony will begin at 21:00 Baku time and will be broadcast on US news channels.

It was reported that due to weather conditions, Trump ordered the ceremony to be held inside the Capitol building. Currently, preparations are underway inside the building. Three-meter fences and temporary barriers 48 kilometers long have been installed outside the building.

Before the ceremony, Donald Trump will participate in a traditional tea ceremony with former President Joe Biden and his family. This symbolically represents the peaceful transfer of power.

During the ceremony, the famous garbage truck used by Trump in the election campaign will be displayed.
