Dubowitz showed a photo of Khamenei participating in the farewell ceremony of judges killed in Iran and emphasized that he had a bulletproof vest under his clothes.

According to the lawyer, Khamenei took such a security measure because he was afraid of the Iranian people who hate him and the possible end of the Islamic Republic. This is seen as an indication that Khamenei is trying to protect his position and power.
