Trump renames the Gulf of Mexico and Denali

US President Donald Trump has signed a decree on renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the Gulf of America, and Denali, the highest mountain in North America, to Mount McKinley in Alaska.

Axar.az reports that information about this was published on the website of the White House.

According to the order, the interior secretary must take all necessary steps to change the name of the place and the secretary must update the Geographic Names Information System to remove all references to the Gulf of Mexico within 30 days.
