Pashinyan offers condolences to Turkiye

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, has offered condolences to Turkiye in connection with the fire at a ski resort in Bolu.

Axar.az reports that he made this statement on his X account.

"The tragedy at the ski resort in Bolu is shocking. My condolences to the victims' families. I wish a speedy recovery for the injured,” he stated.

It should be noted that on the morning of January 21, a fire broke out in a hotel at the Kartalkaya Ski Resort in Turkiye's Bolu province. As a result of the incident, 76 people died and 51 were injured. The identities of 52 of the deceased have been identified, and the bodies of 45 have been handed over to their families. As of the investigation, 9 people have been detained.
