Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman announced the kingdom's plan to invest $600 billion in the US over four years during a phone call with President Donald Trump, according to the Saudi Press Agency.

Axar.az reports that while specifics on the investments were not provided, the call highlights Saudi Arabia’s ongoing focus on expanding its US economic ties beyond oil, including investments in businesses and sports.

This marks the first reported foreign call for Trump since his re-entry to the White House. Trump also hinted at visiting Saudi Arabia as his first foreign trip, citing past agreements worth $450 billion during his 2017 visit. Additionally, the crown prince spoke with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
