Russia and Ukraine must give up something for the war to end this year.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the spokesman for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry, Georgy Tikhin.

He said that the common goal of Ukraine and the United States is to achieve peace as soon as possible.

The diplomat also spoke about a possible meeting between Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his American counterpart, Donald Trump:

“The meeting will discuss specific steps. Also, an exchange of views will be held on the main directions of a peaceful settlement of the war and possible compromises. We are looking forward to a meeting at the level of leaders.”
