South Korea's military reports that North Korea is preparing to send additional troops to Russia after suffering significant losses in the Russia-Ukraine war.

Axar.az, citing ABC news, reports that intelligence suggests North Korea previously sent 10,000-12,000 troops to Russia, with up to 4,000 killed or wounded, according to varying estimates. The lack of combat experience and unfamiliarity with battlefield conditions have made North Korean soldiers vulnerable to drone and artillery attacks.

North Korea has also supplied extensive conventional weapons to Russia, raising concerns that Moscow may reciprocate by providing advanced military technologies that could enhance Pyongyang's nuclear capabilities.
