EU to discuss Syria sanctions on January 27

The lifting of sanctions against Syria will be discussed during a meeting of EU foreign ministers on January 27.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by the European Union's chief diplomat Kaya Kallas during a joint press conference with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan in Ankara.

She noted that the EU is proposing a "roadmap" for easing sanctions.

According to Kallas, the first decisions in this direction by the EU will be made on January 27.
