The Iranian Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has released the first image of one of its sophisticated mines during exercises in the south of the country.

Axar.az reports that these mines have different capabilities from other naval mines and that some of their features have been kept secret until now.

It should be noted that the IRGC Navy began naval exercises yesterday in the waters of the Persian Gulf near the Bushehr and Khuzestan provinces in southern Iran. The exercises are part of the “Power” exercises that the IRGC and army have been conducting together across the country in recent times.

In early January, the IRGC Navy demonstrated its underwater missile system.
