US suspends aid, including to Ukraine

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio has ordered an immediate suspension of almost all foreign aid programs, including aid to Ukraine, for 90 days.

Axar.az reports citing foreign media.

“A USAID official, who asked not to be named, said that employees responsible for projects in Ukraine have been ordered to stop all work,” the material says.

According to a current State Department official and two former Biden administration officials, the suspension will affect key allies such as Ukraine, Jordan, and Taiwan.
