US suspends migration programs

The US Department of Homeland Security has suspended several migration programs. This decision will block the entry of migrants fleeing unstable regions of the world into the country.

Axar.az reports that the information was published by the New York Times.

It was noted that the blocked programs include the "Unity for Ukraine" initiative. This program has allowed more than 150,000 Ukrainians to enter the United States.

The new administration believes that some of the programs are illegal.
