The US administration is considering deploying Stryker armored personnel carriers and additional military personnel to the border with Mexico to combat illegal migration.

Axar.az informs that the Washington Post reported this.

According to the information, the deployment of up to 10,000 troops in total, including infantry troops equipped with 20-ton armored personnel carriers, is being discussed.

It should be noted that the Trump administration had previously announced its intention to send troops to the border in addition to the 1,500 soldiers already sent.
