Pashinyan is trying to soften his previous statements and reduce negative impressions with his latest statements.

Axar.az reports that this was said by Armenian expert Vigen Hakobyan.

“A huge wave of dissatisfaction has gathered in society on many issues. Therefore, it is necessary to somehow neutralize the emerging tension. However, if Pashinyan thinks that the words he is saying now are taken seriously by society, he is mistaken. Because his rating is constantly falling. The ruling power is aware of his rating, which has fallen 8 times since 2018. Therefore, the authorities are using every means to achieve results in the 2026 parliamentary elections. But if Pashinyan cannot sign a peace agreement with Azerbaijan, then it will be pointless to go to early elections. In modern conditions, public discontent can turn into a strong wave of resistance. There is a certain mass that needs a reason, a format, a platform, and a leader,” Hakobyan emphasized.
