Trump's 10% tariff aims to boost US-China talks

US President Donald Trump's imposing an additional 10% tariff on Chinese products aims to facilitate negotiations between Washington and Beijing.

Axar.az reports that US Vice President James David Vance said this.

"On the one hand, the tariffs are a punishment for China for using the American economy to send drugs to our country. Another purpose of the tariffs is to allow the president to negotiate with the Chinese Communist Party to bring more balance to our relations," he noted.
