Russian flags removed from Armenia-Iran border

Russian flags have been removed from the Armenia-Iran border.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by Armenian journalist Tatul Akopyan.

He stated that the Russian flags were taken down from the border checkpoints:

"Yesterday, on the way to Aqaraga and along the Svaniidzor road by the Araz River, I did not see any Russian flags. As far as I understand, only our flags remain at the Armenia-Iran border."

It is worth noting that starting from January 1, 2025, Russian border guards have suspended their duties at the border checkpoints on the Armenia-Iran border.
