UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer will discuss tough sanctions against Russian energy companies during his visit to Brussels today.

Axar.az reports that the Prime Minister’s Office released a statement on the matter.

"I’m here to work with our European partners on keeping up the pressure, targeting the energy revenues and the companies supplying his missile factories to crush Putin’s war machine. Because ultimately, alongside our military support, that is what will bring peace closer."

It should be noted that an informal summit is scheduled to take place in Brussels today, where defense issues will be discussed. In addition, the summit will address relations with the US in a geopolitical context.
