Armenia hopes that the establishment of peace in the South Caucasus will be a priority for the US political elite, said Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Axar.az reports that he made the remarks at a meeting with members of the Save Armenia organisation in Washington.

“If you ask what is the most effective way to support Armenia from the US viewpoint, I would say that including the agenda of achieving peace in the South Caucasus in the US political elite's list of priorities would be very important,” he said.

It is worth noting that Pashinyan, along with his wife Anna Akopyan, is on a business trip to Washington.
