An-2 makes emergency landing in Kazakhstan

An An-2 aircraft made a hard landing in stormy weather 1.5 kilometers from the city of Arkalyk in the Kostanay region of Kazakhstan. The incident occurred near the local airport while performing the Kostanay-Arkalyk flight.

Axar.az reports citing the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Emergency Situations, that there were two pilots and two doctors on board the aircraft. After receiving the signal, firefighters and rescuers from the Department of Emergency Situations of the Kostanay region were immediately sent to the scene.

Thanks to the precise actions of the rescuers, all crew members were quickly found and transported to the city of Arkalyk. No one was injured as a result of the incident.

The details of the incident are currently being investigated.
