Turkish security forces have carried out the "Gurzh-45" operation against terrorists in Edirne.

Axar.az reports that this was announced by Turkiye's Minister of Interior, Ali Yerlikaya.

"As part of the operation, two key members of the PKK/KCK, Bulent Tasher, codenamed 'Serhabun Malazgirt', and Leyla Husheng, codenamed 'Serya Baran', were captured. The detained individuals were major participants in several terror attacks carried out in Turkiye," the minister stated.
