Russia implements 'Carpet' plan at 7 airports

The "Carpet" plan has been implemented at seven airports in Russia.

Axar.az reports that this information was provided by Russia's Federal Air Transport Agency.

"Temporary restrictions have been applied to the arrival and departure of aircraft at the airports of Astrakhan, Vladikavkaz, Volgograd, Grozny, Kaluga, Saratov, and Ulyanovsk to ensure the safety of civilian aircraft operations," the statement said.

It is also noted that overnight, Russia shot down 40 Ukrainian UAVs.
