Turkiye begins restoring Damascus Airport

Turkiye is restoring Damascus airport.

Axar.az reports that the country's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulgadir Uraloghlu said this.

He said that a 25-member team that went to Syria for this purpose has already started work.

According to the minister, various technological means, including 10 X-ray devices and eight hand detectors, have been taken from Turkiye to Syria. This is to ensure stronger security at the airport.

A. Uraloghlu noted that Turkiye will continue to work to strengthen Syria's air transport.
