Russia launches massive airstrike with 267 UAVs

On the night of February 22-23, Russia launched an airstrike on Ukrainian territory with 267 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and three Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles.

Axar.az reports that the Ukrainian Air Force provided this information.

The airstrike was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, as well as the mobile fire teams of the Ukrainian Air Force and Defense Forces.

It was reported that air defense systems were active in the Kharkiv, Poltava, Sumy, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Rivne, Mykolaiv, Odesa, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Additionally, 119 UAV imitators from Russia were lost, with three of them heading towards Belarus and one towards Russia.

As a result of the airstrike, the Dnipropetrovsk, Odesa, Poltava, Kyiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions were affected. Also, in the city of Kryvyi Rih in the Dnipropetrovsk region, one person was killed and three others were injured.
