Azerbaijan plans to invest 2 Billion in Pakistan's economy

As I stated during my state visit to Pakistan last summer, Azerbaijan plans to invest $2 billion in Pakistan's economy. A few months ago, we received specific project proposals from Pakistan, and Azerbaijani representatives are currently evaluating them.

Axar.az reports that President Ilham Aliyev made this statement during a joint press briefing with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

"In short, today, I believe my brother and I have set very important and realistic goals: all discussions should be concluded within a month, and by early April, documents should be prepared for signing. These projects will cover infrastructure development, energy, mining, and possibly other sectors," the Azerbaijani leader emphasized.
