Trump envoy plans to meet Putin in Moscow

U.S. President Donald Trump's envoy to the Middle East, Steve Witkoff, plans to visit Moscow for a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Axar.az informs Bloomberg reported Monday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Witkoff planned to travel this week for what would be his second trip to Russia as Trump's envoy, said the report, which did not specify the exact time of his trip.

According to previous reports, after Witkoff made an unannounced visit to Russia in February, Russia released a U.S. citizen who had been detained for three years.
