US boosts tariffs on Canadian goods to 50%

The US has imposed new tariffs on Canadian products.

Axar.az reports that US President Donald Trump wrote about this on Truth Social.

Thus, from March 12, the 25 percent customs duties applied to products imported from Canada will be increased to 50 percent.

Trump emphasized that this decision was made in response to the Canadian authorities imposing electricity tariffs supplied to the U.S.
