Ukraine accepts the US ceasefire proposal

Ukraine is ready to accept the US proposal for a 30-day ceasefire.

Axar.az reports that this is stated in the joint statement of Ukraine and the US following the results of the talks in Jeddah.

"Ukraine expressed its readiness to accept the US proposal to immediately implement a 30-day temporary ceasefire. This proposal may be extended by mutual consent of the parties, provided that it is accepted by the Russian Federation and implemented simultaneously," it said.
