US negotiators for the Ukrainian settlement are flying to Russia, and the relevant contacts are scheduled for Thursday.
Axar.az reports that via TASS, this was announced by the press secretary of the Russian President, Dmitry Peskov, during a briefing.
"Indeed, the negotiators are flying, and indeed, contacts are planned. We won’t jump ahead, we will provide more information later," said the Kremlin spokesman.
On March 12, White House Press Secretary Caroline Livitt announced that US special envoy Stephen Wittkopf would travel to Moscow this week to discuss the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine.
According to the flight tracking service Flightradar, the plane departed from Hamad International Airport in Doha. As of 12:00, the aircraft began descending in preparation for landing in Moscow and has already entered the Moscow flight information region from the Smolensk region.
