Explosion in Pakistan’s Balochistan kills 12, injures 26

At 16:05, an attack occurred on a convoy of border patrol buses on the N-40 highway in Pakistan’s Balochistan region. As a result of the incident, at least 12 soldiers were killed, and 26 others were injured.

Axar.az informs that local media reported this information.

The attack reportedly began with an explosion and continued with intense gunfire in the Rakshani Mill area.

The explosion was carried out using a kamikaze improvised explosive device.

Two terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire with the soldiers. The area was subsequently surrounded by security forces.

The Balochistan Liberation Army group claimed responsibility for the attack.
