Israeli airstrikes in Gaza killed at least 310 people, according to Palestinian health authorities, as attacks targeted multiple locations following the collapse of a ceasefire.

Axar.az reports that Hamas accused Israel of violating the truce, while Israel stated the strikes were aimed at Hamas commanders and infrastructure.

The Israeli military signaled further operations, possibly including ground forces.

The attacks came after failed negotiations to extend the ceasefire, which had initially facilitated the exchange of hostages and prisoners. Israel accused Hamas of refusing to release more hostages, while Hamas insisted on a permanent ceasefire and Israeli withdrawal.

The broader conflict, which began in October 2023 after Hamas-led attacks on Israel, has resulted in over 48,000 Palestinian deaths, according to health officials, and widespread destruction across Gaza.
