Putin accepts Trump’s ceasefire proposal

Russian President Vladimir Putin agreed with his American counterpart Donald Trump during a telephone conversation on Tuesday, agreeing to his proposal for a 30-day ceasefire.

Axar.az reports citing a statement from the Kremlin press service.

"During the conversation, Donald Trump proposed to the conflicting parties to mutually refrain from attacks on energy infrastructure facilities for 30 days. Vladimir Putin responded positively to this initiative and immediately gave the appropriate order to the Russian military," the statement said.

It should be noted that a telephone conversation between Putin and Trump took place today.
