US President Donald Trump is determined to resolve the Ukrainian conflict once and for all.

Axar.az reports that White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said this at a briefing for journalists.

"President Trump has repeatedly stated that it would be better if Ukraine and Russia used the precious human lives and financial resources they have spent on this war for the needs of their people. This terrible conflict would never have started under President Trump, but he is determined to end this war once and for all.

On March 18, President Donald Trump and President Vladimir Putin discussed the need to achieve peace and a ceasefire in the Ukrainian war. Both leaders emphasized that this conflict must end with lasting peace and noted the importance of improving US-Russian bilateral relations. This morning, President Trump also spoke with President Zelensky to exchange views on reconciling the demands and needs of Russia and Ukraine," the press secretary added.
