The interrogation process has begun for Ekrem Imamoglu, the mayor of Istanbul, who was detained during operations carried out yesterday.

It was reported that, along with the mayor, his press advisor Murad Ongun, the mayor of Beylikduzu, Murat Calik, the mayor of SiSli, Rasul Emrah Sahan, and singer Ercan Saatci are also being questioned.

It should be noted that yesterday, an anti-corruption operation was carried out in the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. A total of 106 people, including Imamoglu, were detained in the operation.
