Zelensky’s South Africa visit postponed

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's visit to the Republic of South Africa (RSA) has been postponed from April 10 to April 24.

Axar.az reports, citing foreign media, this was announced by RSA presidential spokesperson Vincent Magwenya.

"Zelensky's visit has been rescheduled to April 24, 2025, at his personal request and due to the Ukrainian government's current schedule," the spokesperson stated.

Magwenya added that South Africa's efforts to resolve the Ukraine conflict align with the position of the United States.

The spokesperson also noted that Zelensky's visit aims to support the peace process and strengthen bilateral relations between the countries.
