During the special military operation (SMO), Russian weapons have been perfected.

Axar.az informs this was reported to journalists by the Secretary of the Russian Security Council, Sergey Shoigu.

"After the completion of the special military operation, believe me, there will be a long queue for our weapons. They have proven themselves in combat and have been perfected," he stated.

According to him, Russia has modernized air defense systems (ADS), strike drones, and armored vehicles. Shoigu also highlighted the improved T-90 and T-80 tanks.

The Security Council Secretary emphasized that this also applies to the S-400 and S-500 air defense missile systems, as well as the Pantsir missile system.

It was revealed last year that Russia ranked third among the world's largest arms exporters. France took second place, while the United States remains the leader. Between 2019 and 2023, Russia's arms exports decreased by 53% compared to the previous five-year period (2014–2018).
