Ekrem Imamoglu questioned by police for second time

Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Ekrem Imamoglu is giving his statement to the police for the second time.

Axar.az informs Turkish media have reported on the matter.

It should be noted that the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office has issued arrest warrants for 106 individuals, including Ekrem Imamoglu, as part of two separate investigations.

So far, 90 people have been arrested in connection with the case. Imamoglu is facing charges related to collaboration with the PKK terrorist organization, corruption, and bribery. He is expected to appear before a judge later this evening.
