Erdogan: Russia's ceasefire response key to peace

We consider Russia's position on the prospect of a 30-day ceasefire in Ukraine valuable for resolving the conflict.

Axar.az reports that Turkish President Erdogan said these words during his speech after the Cabinet meeting in Ankara.

"We want this war, which has been going on for four years, to end with a just peace, without further bloodshed and destruction. We evaluate Russia's positive but reasonable approach to the US proposal for a 30-day ceasefire as a valuable step towards peace. We have mobilized all our diplomatic resources so that our region can emerge from the vortex of instability and conflict as soon as possible," he said.
