Erdogan: Opposition provoking peace

The country's opposition has shown great unconsciousness.

Axar.az reports that these words were said by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

"A country like Turkiye has a very visionless opposition. Stop disturbing the peace of our citizens with provocations. Stop your attacks on our police," Erdogan said.

It should be noted that the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, CHP member Ekrem Imamoghlu, who was detained on March 19, was arrested on March 23 on corruption charges and removed from office. Since the detention of E. Imamoghlu, rallies of CHP members have been held in various cities in Turkiye, especially in Istanbul.
