Gaza war may end after hostages released

Military operations in the Gaza Strip may end once all hostages held by militants are released.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Israel's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Gideon Saar.

"The war could end tomorrow with the release of our hostages, the demilitarization of Gaza, and the removal of Hamas and Islamic Jihad militants from the strip. We would be happy to achieve our goals through diplomatic means. However, if that is not possible, we have no choice but to continue our military efforts," Saar said.
