Seven arrested in anti-crime operation in Georgia

A police operation was conducted against a criminal group in Georgia’s Imereti region.

Axar.az reports that Georgia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has released a statement on the matter.

As part of the operation, seven individuals were detained.

It was determined that the criminal group had been unlawfully influencing various businesses in the agricultural sector.

The detainees face criminal charges that carry prison sentences of up to 15 years.
