Documents seized in investigation into AZAL plane crash

The Basmanny Court of Moscow has granted permission for the seizure of documents from two locations in southern Russia in connection with the investigation of the AZAL "Embraer 190" plane crash, which occurred in December 2024.

Axar.az reports that this was stated in the court materials.

It was reported that the request for this was made by the investigator in January 2025, and the prosecutor supported it.

The court, after reviewing the case materials, considered the request justified. The court granted permission for the seizure of the documents, and the decision has come into legal force.

It is worth noting that the tragedy occurred on December 25, 2024. There were 67 people on board the plane, 38 of whom died. Preliminary information indicates that the crash occurred due to external physical and technical factors.
