A body of an Indian citizen has been found in a house in the Nor Gexi village of Armenia’s Kotayk region today.

Axar.az reports that Armenia’s Ministry of Internal Affairs has released a statement on the matter.

A criminal case has been opened under the charge of "murder."

It was reported that the deceased Indian citizen had been living at the specified address with several of his compatriots.

It is worth noting that incidents of Indian citizens being assaulted or killed in Armenia occur from time to time.
